1. Order Processing

  • Lead Time: As all products are handmade, processing times typically range from 4-6 weeks depending on the item and current workload. We aim to complete your order within this timeframe but may need an additional 3-week extension during busy periods or if materials are backordered. We will notify you if such a delay occurs.

2. Shipping

We offer shipping both within the UK and internationally.

  • Carriers: We use Royal Mail, Evri, and DHL for reliable shipping services.

  • Shipping Rates: Calculated automatically at checkout based on your location.

  • Tracking: All orders come with tracking information that will be provided via email once your order is dispatched.

  • International Shipping Restrictions: We currently do not ship to countries under international trade restrictions (e.g., North Korea, Iran). If we are unable to ship to your location, you will be notified during the checkout process.

3. Returns & Exchanges

We want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. Please review our return and exchange policy below:

Returns

  • Eligibility: We accept returns for defective or faulty items only within 30 days of receiving your product.

  • Exclusions: Custom orders and personalised items are not eligible for returns or refunds unless a manufacturing defect is found. We encourage customers to carefully consider bespoke orders, as each item is made specifically for you.

  • Condition: Items must be unused and in their original packaging to qualify for a return.

  • Return Shipping: The customer is responsible for return shipping costs, which are non-refundable. For items valued over £70, we recommend using a trackable shipping service and purchasing insurance to ensure safe delivery.

Exchanges

  • We only replace items if they are defective or damaged (not due to normal wear and tear). If you receive a faulty or damaged product, please contact us at aetolusleather@gmail.com for assistance. We thoroughly inspect all items before dispatch to ensure they meet our quality standards.


4. Refunds

  • Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to confirm receipt and notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.

  • Refund Process: If approved, your refund will be processed within a few business days and automatically applied to your original payment method.

  • Non-Refundable Items: Some sale or promotional items may not be eligible for refunds. If this applies, it will be clearly stated on the product page.

5. Warranty

Each Aetolus Leather product is made to last, and we stand by the quality of our craftsmanship. Our warranty covers manufacturing defects for one year from the date of purchase.

  • What’s Covered: Manufacturing defects, but not damage caused by normal wear and tear, misuse, or accidents.
