Frequently Asked Questions

Full payment is required at the time of your order to ensure that we have all necessary materials on hand to begin production promptly. If you have any concerns about this policy or questions about canceling an order that has not been completed, please contact us.

The lead time will be 4-6 weeks from the date of your order. Factors such as backordered materials, holidays, or post-office strikes may potentially affect the lead time. If you require a quicker turnaround, please check our in-stock catalogue.

Due to the size and nature of our business, we aim to avoid any delays in processing your order. Therefore, we have designated Mondays as our shipping day for parcels. We appreciate your patience and anticipate finding better solutions for shipping and handling in the near future.

Yes and no. Most of our products are bespoke and can be customized. You can choose the leather colour, thread colour, hardware, etc., and we will make it to order. However, we are unable to create custom knife sheaths for example, for knives or axes that we do not have in our inventory. If you provide the knife at your own cost, we can design and make a sheath for it, although this process will not be the same as our standard products and will incur an additional cost. Therefore, we are currently not accepting custom orders of this nature.

Everything you likely own, including your furniture, flooring, and clothing, is either natural or designed to imitate natural materials. From faux wood desks and faux leather bags to faux wood flooring, these items often deteriorate after a few years. In contrast, real wooden tables, leather boots, canvas tents, and woolen blankets are more durable and can be maintained with oils, waxes, and natural soaps. They can also be repaired and passed down as heirloom pieces. This is all possible because natural materials are inherently perfect.
This philosophy is at the core of what we create, use, and offer. Our products are made from all-natural leather, handcrafted, and treated with natural waxes and oils. They also feature solid brass and steel hardware, all presented in eco-friendly, recyclable packaging.

This is just the nature of handmade, small-batch, high-demand items. Things tend to sell out very quickly when they’re in stock. In order to still keep items available to view and research, we keep everything up for looking even if it’s not currently available.

Aetolus is a person whose origin hails from the mountainous region of Aetolia in Greece.
I am from that region and I have it close to my heart. It’s in the middle of nowhere, or in other words, it’s not a touristic destination; but it has rich history and good food.
